I would love to attend this college! I think it's a great school and has a wonderful reputation. All students there seem to enjoy the campus and seem to be having a positive experience. I hope that this will be where I am attending in the fall.

My overall opinion of NAU is that it offers wonderful classes at a beautiful campus. They offer plenty of resources for students who need help with either classes, resumés, and other things with workshops, tutoring sessions, and stress reliever events. They have plenty of events going on around campus, which makes the college life even more interesting. The people are very friendly and polite. You'll meet a lot of wonderful people here at NAU.

I really enjoy NAU. I think it is a great school for people that are outdoorsy. I also just think the school is pretty good overall. The professors are always available to help whether it is over email or during their office hours or even over a text message. NAU is highly recommended by me!

Being at Northern Arizona University has been a nice experience. Leaving California, my home state, to move to another state away from my friends and family has been hard, but it has been a rewarding journey because the people here in Flagstaff are so friendly. It is very beautiful here and there is plenty of resources to help students,

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I only spent a few weeks going to class before I felt completely out of place. I had feedback from one professor while in attendance. I am a very friendly person and had a hard time connecting with other students. I was put into classes that had nothing to do with my major and that could not transfer to any other college I was interested in so I decided to withdraw.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

There is so much to be said about this university, therefore I will try and hit the most important parts I feel an incoming student should know before thinking about attending NAU. In its current state, the university holds as an average, at best, institution. Whether it was the insane influx of students recently, or the lack of engagement with the students, the school fails to sustain its previously, by word of graduated students, decent performance. It's primary selling point seems to be its location, which itself means there is little to back it up. Behind their eco-friendly front are cold and empty insides. Their claims of being eco-friendly are nothing but short attempts of using reclaimed water, solar, etc. However this is nothing short of becoming the norm of colleges around the country. Because of their location, it is easy to hide behind the large Ponderosa pines. The lack of care from anyone besides the TA's, GA's and a handful of professors is overwhelming. They do not specialize in anything besides nursing, which I see is the only reason one should come here other than figuring out what you want to major in; when that happens I recommend one to move to another university that actually has a supportive and wide group that love doing what you want to do. The relationship between the university and the locals is insanely hideous. It only highlights how badly they have evolved. The university is such a large percentage of population and income of Flagstaff, you would think they would have at least a good relationship with the city. Housing rates off campus are off the charts, you feel unwelcome at every corner. Like communism during the 19th century, the university seems good on paper, until you actually go there. The college experience is muffled, strangled, and thrown into a 6 foot hole because of these specific inconsistencies at play. You can never expect a perfect college, however if they play their cards "right" they can somehow even make the very city they are located in have a distaste for the students, faculty, and entire institution.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

The curriculum is amazing. The most appealing aspect of my school are the amazing facilities that we have. The Business building is worth four million dollars to ensure students have the best learning opportunities possible. Every building is very well kept. The professors are very helpful and class sizes are relatively small which creates a more focused learning environment. We have endless access to different opportunities concerning internships, careers and more in-depth education.
