The sports scene on campus is not that strong. NAU is not well known for their their athletic prowess but we are a Division I school. So, if we become better, we have the potential of being recognized nationally against some very well-known schools.
We see people from sports teams as well as clubs practice on various fields. Our sports programs are very competitive, especially cross-country and track. Also, we offer many fields to practice on for all sports.
There's tons of intramural sports to be involved with. You can also choose to be part of the university's teams or alternatively a club team through the university.
