Someone who doesn't like winter, snow, or wind. Also, this school is extremely liberal, so people who are uncomfortable with liberal ideals and the like.
Because Northern Arizona University is a relatively small school, students who are simply looking for a "good time" should not attend. Flagstaff is very small and may not match up to the "big college" standards. NAU does not have large classes to hide in, a large campus to get lost in, or a large student population to become "part of the masses." The weather also varies between somewhat warm weather and frigid cold weather. Many students love these aspects, like myself; however, students who are looking for big party schools should not attend.
A person looking to always party and drink. Here, it's quiet and much more laid back.
Liberals and students who enjoy small towns.
someone who is really conservative shouldn't go here. Also someone who doesn't like the cold and snow.
Someone who doesn't like the cold, or who is unable to accept people who are different.
Lazy, looking for a hand out, non - ambitious
A highly conservative individual. Someone who doesn't like the cold.
Anyone and everyone is able to attend this campus.
Someone who is inflexible, unwilling to expand their ideas, and can't handle the cold. Flagstaff and NAU demand a hearty student and a person who knows they will be challenged at least socially if not academically.
The most frustrating thing about NAU is that it was started as a Normal School, a school for teachers, and is still so well known for that, but has a president who does not desire to focus his attention or to allocate funds to this part of the school. Instead, he spit for summer school maybe, or deal with it if you need the wonderful heart of NAU.
Materialistic people
I think people that shouldn't attend this school are those that go to college ONLY for the learning. I believe college is a place where you learn life lessons and find out about yourself, amidst the learning environment, which a city of Flagstaff beautifully provides. Not to say the education is bad here by any strech of the imagination, but rather that it has so much to offer away from the classroom, some may find themselves enraptured in distracting ways. If you're willing to balance social and scholastic lives, NAU is perfect. If not, I wouldn't attend.
I can't think of a type of person who would feel uncomfortable here - even though a majority of students are younger, there are a lot of returning students, too. The online program works well for many working adults.
Someone who doesn't appreciate the outdoors.
I think anyone that wanted to attend could
