Northwest Florida State College (formerly Okaloosa-Walton College) is a very close-knit college. The instructors love what they teach and their enthusiasm creates a positive atmosphere for current and new students. The classes are relatively small, which enables the instructors to easily help each and every student with problem areas. Northwest Florida State College has a wonderful center of arts called the Maddie Kelly Arts Center. It has theatre, music, and even film classes! It's not limited to just the arts, though. One could go to this college for Engineering, Architecture, or just get their AA.
