You'll find a lot of different kinds of people here, but mostly there are ministry majors and music majors, sometimes even ministry in music majors. People who want to be pastors or missionaries come to this school to get the degree - and they come here because their parents can afford it, but there are a few here and there who got scholarships to play on the sports team, and are working towards different majors. The most common and realistic majors here are business and nursing.
Northwest University is a Christian school, and we have to sign a statement of faith, so ideally a Christian person will most likely attend this school. Christian people should not be the only ones aloud to attend this school; I believe that non-Christians should be able to go to Northwest so that they can be surrounded by other Godly people all striving for the betterment of their faith and self.
A person who wants to build life-long relationships.
Someone who is interested in small class size, non-partying,dry campus. It's a wonderful place to learn. I feel very comfortable here as an adult returning student. They have great on campus housing.
Northwest University is a school best fit for dedicated Christians. While it is Assemblies of God denomination, I personally do not identify myself under any particular denomination. Denomination is not relevant. It is a small school, community based, and holds a strong value for helping the community and the world. Our student body participates in mission trips around the world, as well as many organizations in our community.
A person considering this school should have an incredible want to learn and be amongst others with amazing Christian values! This school stands proudly on his Christian ethics but delivers a top notch education for many different degrees! Northwest University is a home away from home where you can meet people from all over in a warm and comforting community!
