The worst thing about Northwood University is the mentality of some students. I find it annoying when they complain about the homework and what is expected of them as students, even when it is simple things that is assigned or expected of them.
Honestly, there isn't anything I really don't like about my school. I guess if I had to pick one thing it would be the size. In some ways, being at a smaller university isn't as great because you don't get to meet as many new people & you interact with the same people on a regular basis. But, in all honesty, I don't think this is a bad thing. I love knowing the people on a personal level & getting a great experience from that.
Expensive, I live off campus about a half hour away and i work close to full time to pay all of my bills and be able to drive back and forth to school. I also have to pay for all my own food and expenses do i have to work alot just to be able to afforde to go to school and pay for books and so forth.
The worst thing about my school is that it is hard is that they currently have the courses set up in trimesters. I believe once they go to semesters the school year will be set up in a way that will maximize student learning and be able provide students with more educational opportunities.
Its a white collar, rich school that believes in the good boy system.
The costs. The teachers suck too.
It is small so there are a lot of cliques
