It's proximity to major University's, as well as Norwalk Community College's ties with Yale, UConn, and other community colleges allows for easy transfer of credits. The professor's take seriously their job to challenge and educate the students, and in some cases I think the teaching is better since many of them are available after class hours for one on one tutoring. Yet, the price for the education is substantially less than the surrounding University's. It's relatively small student body ensures more attention from faculty and adminstrators.

When I was looking into other colleges I didn't get the friendliness and willingness to help, like I did from the staff here at Norwalk Community College. They offered me an education that is of top quality for half the cost of other technical or 4 year schools in my area. I really love the slogan of the school, "I created me at NCC". The have women groups and support systems set up to help you prosper and not fail.
