The tution is extremely high and is even more expensive to live on campus. No public transportation passes to connect to Caltrain, and Samtrans.

The worst thing about the school is probably the class selection. Because it is so small, there are very few classes, and the ones that people want fill up so quickly that it gets very difficult to meet the requirements for your intended major on time.

Allie

The worst thing would be the fact that I do not have the resources I need to succeed in my chosen career path here. The music library is small and disorganized, there are no practice rooms, we have poor rehearsal space, and we only offer basic dance classes. I feel like the limited resources also limit me as a performer which is the opposite of what I am trying to do by coming to college in the first place. I want to grow as a performer and the scarces resources make it extremely difficult.

Marcelina

The worst thing about my school is that it is hard for me to learn in big groups during the tutoring sessions and that I struggle in biology class.

Ayrton

The worst thing about Notre Dame de Namur University is that because is such a small university everybody knows each other, and each other’s actions and problems; so if you do something that you will regret, have for sure that the next day most of the school is going to know.

Emina

I think that the size of the school because of people, and how they all talk about each other. Word spreads very quickly around school about stuff that happens, and that is not something I really like. Other than that, the size is not horrible, just the talking, and the spreading of illness.

DANIELLE

The cost and financial aid process. Also, I feel like there is so little guidance.

Mele

The worst thing about our school is that not alot of people are involved in the school. I believe that our school would be better if students were involved in school activities but its not there fault because not alot of them are informed. So I believe that we should work on our communication skills to inform students to come out to the activites and get a little background information about the activity. So by spreading the word it will get out and a lot of students would come out to discover something new.

Jessica

If I had to choose one bad thing about my school, it would be that sometimes it seems like if you don't belong to a sport or club that you feel like an outcast or excluded. However, the school does a very good job to try to include everybody in activities.

marie

The worst thing is the 4 hr evening classes mandatory each week.

Stacey

I would say that since it is small, it feels like it's hard to get to know people because there are many established friendships. It forces one to become more out going and pushes me out of my comfort zone.

Sarah

I feel that the worst part of my school is the lack a respect the students have for their living space. I am transferring next year, due to this. The bathrooms can be cleaned in the morning and they are disgusting by the end of the night. The bathrooms are not co-ed but the students do not follow the signs. They have no sense of respect for others during quiet hours, which start at 11 p.m. They do not even care enough to fess up when they break something on our floor, so everyone has to pay.

Amanda

There is not too much that comes to mind with this question. The school has been here for so long that it is a little worn in. The technology is up o date but inside buildings that are no longer bright and shiny. Still, that is all cosmetic, and doesn't relate to the overall learning experiance that you will recieve from NDNU.
