What's unique about your campus?

The best thing about my school is how small and comfortabel it is. The student/teacher ratio is great. Students really get to know thier teachers and vice versa. The students get quality tie with thier professors whether it be in class or at thier office hours. The professors really make an effort to make time for thier students on or off campus. Students really do get their money's worth.

Notre Dame de Namur University is a very small school unlike the big universties, and I consider that to be the best thing. The class sizes ranges from twenty -five to thirty students, which allows each student to have one on one time with the teacher. In contrast, this kind of attention is much more harder to obtain in big public universities because there are many students, that the teacher simply does not have enough time to help each and every student.

The best thing about NDNU is the class sizes. It is not an impacted school, which makes it so much easier to choose classes and to actually be able to get the ones you want. The professors are very attentive and they help each student as much as possible. The one-on-one attenetion with the professors helped me throughout my first year. Because the class sizes are usually only about 30 people (maximum), it is easier to understand material and to also be recognized by the professors when extra help is needed. It is truly a blessing.

The best thing about NDNU is the teachers and class sizes. All the teachers work with every student as much as they can. They get to know their students and help them in their struggles. The biggest class I had as a freshman at NDNU was about 24 students. With that being said, the professors were able to spend the whole class time focusing on the topic of the day.

The best thing about my school is the emphasis placed on the arts and creativity. Students are always engaged in their work and it is a very collaborative environment. I know I'll have a great network of people to interact with once I graduate because of how frequently I interact with students across different disciplines already.

At NDNU, the best thing about the school is the intimacy of the classroom setting. You certainly get your money's worth due to the class attendance not exceeding 30 students. Other institutions offer classes that may have up to 800 students and I feel there is little time for Teacher to student tutor time that is necessary in advancing. Notre Dame de Namur's teachers are available for any questions or concerns that are not addressed during class time and are extremely friendly. The best thing at NDNU is the exceptional one on one time offered.

The best thing about our school is the fact that it is small. I love the atmosphere of how everyone knows each other and that there is a diversity of students. You dont have just one race that overpopulates the school, but you have range of other nationalities. You also get to experience the different cultures if you take the time to meet new people. I mean you get to see how they see the world and how they go through life.

Cristina

I love the small classrooms and the cafewteria food is healthy and has a wide varierty which is a good thign that helps keep college students healthy

Erica

Since the teachers are there to teach and not to do research, it means teaching is their passion and they do a great job at it. The class sizes are small which lets you get to know your teachers and form lasting relationships with them as mentors. Also since the class sizes are small it is easy to participate in discussions and bring up topics that you are curious about.

The best thing about NDNU is that all professors are extremly helpful and this is the benefit of attending a small ( but expensive) university. Our classes consist of approximetly 15-25 students in each class, depending on what type of subject you are taking. Another benefit about going to a school like NDNU is the friendships you develop here. With our size you are bound to find some new and exciting freinds!

Jaclyn

I like the smaller campus. It makes me feel like I am better friends with people and more like school is a family instead of a bunch of strangers.

Lauren

The small classes because the professors give you a lot of attention. Athletes make up the majority of the school and it is easier to make friends that way.
