The curriculum since it's an endless labyrinth of prerequisites, too little and too many credit hours. The curriculum makes it difficult for students to double major or even take a minor, which is somewhat ridiculous considering the high price the school is charging its students.
Some of the online professors are hard to get in contact with or take there time getting back to you.
The most frustrating thing is fearing the amount of financial aid you are given. Many times I have had to forgo food, books and other materials needed for class on a few occasions, due to many delays and setbacks with trying to obtain a credit worthy co-signer for the alternative/private loans I needed to supplement my remaining tuition expenses.
Financial papers constantly get lost. So if you are turning in an important paper, make copies because they will most likely lose it.
I think the most frustratied thing about Nova is the cost. It is a private institue so the price is very high. i also i had to take in account all the out of state tutition fee.
Nova does not have a football team and hardly has jobs for students.
The cost of classes, its really expensive to attend this University.
NSU is defenitely not a party school. But if you want to have an active nightlife, in addition to joining clubs and sororities or fraternities, Downtown Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach are VERY close.
Since this is my first semester at Nova after 2 years at St. Leo University [here in Florida] is hard for me to find anything that really frustate students or faculty.
