Nyack College is not only a place of learning, but it is also a place where your spiritual growth can grow as well. Professors are friendly and always open for a conversation or will answer questions. Academics are just right. Students can have the option to come to class in-person or online. Students are warm and welcoming to others, whether one is new or is a returning student. It is definitely a place to feel welcome.

They have always been my first choice. I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else. The students and faculty are simply amazing. They are not only a place with academic value but, they also have the spiritual aspect. You can really depend on the staff when you need to.

A great place to learn and grow in the Lord Jesus Christ. A great place to learn more about yourself and with many different cultures. The professors are very encouraging to reach beyond limits, so you will become a critical thinker. To become wise leaders in your community and government.

    The work is alot. I did'nt think I would have so much papers to write but it has become interesting to me. The people of different cultures from around the world you get to meet and they share their life style back at home with you. My college have this thing we call small groups, and we talk about our family situations and things that we have over come. I really like my school and I wish every person could experience what I am experiencing here.

    Lack of variety in financial aid. A lot of money is spent on sports and athletes while academica and the arts receive next to nothing. More money should be spent on both of those areas, so that the college can better foster the emotional and intellectual growth of all students.

    A person who is very logical and analyticaly minded. Nyack is not an academics paradise though there are certain professors who expect a lot. Mainly in the music department which has almost all juliard graduate professors.

    The best thing about my school is chapel. Three times a week, we have chapel where we all get together to worship God and hear a message -- kinda like church. There is a passion and a fire for God on this campus.

    My classmates are very out spoken. Everyone is different but the same at the same time. Everyone is christian at my college but with different views on certain scriptures. My classmates are very respectful and helpful.

    My school is best known for its weave of academics and religion. It rewards the students with the knowledge of what goes on in our immediate world and the spiritual world as well, thus, edifying its students on two different planes for us to prosper in our careers. Academically, the school provides us with a wide variety of classes in all its departments. Spiritually, my school delivers several mandatory courses to enlighten us on theology to build a strong foundation in the future.

    I wish I had known the Bible professors which I should take and my requirement courses for my majors in order to graduate on right time. I also wish I had known to visit overnights before I entered as a freshmen in Nyack College.

    At the moment iI can think of one beccuse is a small class , however if I of one this would be getting to the college library and finding the books for the courses.since I work full time and I am a father ,time has an effect on how i make my decisions.Nevertheless ,I believe that the school is great because is accompdating for my schedule.

TUITION & AID

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
