Oak Hills is a great place to learn and grow your faith! If you are a Christian seeking an education that will nourish your relationship with God and the family of Christ, Oak Hills is could be the place for you. All the instructors are open, friendly, and genuinely care about you. It's also a great place to make connections with other students your age, with your shared values! I am honored to be apart of this organization, and cannot wait to further my education here.

Brianna

I think it is an awesome place to meet new people and a great place to learn the Word of God. It's a great place on getting out of your comfort zone. They may push you a bit to do some of the things they may require in the school but it is honestly only for the better for you and your growth in the Lord.

Helen

Oak Hills is a peaceful place to seek God and a higher education. Because the school is so small, the culture can get kind of heavy occasionally. There is not much to do on campus and student life is not always the greatest. However, if you're looking for a school where the professors care deeply about not only your academic life but also your personal and spiritual life, Oak Hills is the place to be.

Daniel

Oak Hills Christian College is a peaceful place to pursue a Christ-centered education. The faculty is quite pleasant and have a general interest in making strong and meaningful connections with their students. The campus is nestled in the woods on the outskirts of the Bemidji area. It is quiet and serene. The accommodations have been greatly improved to meet the needs of the students in attendance. with smaller classroom sizes, students receive more direct and intentional experience with the instructors. The curriculum is focused on educating students to make a lasting impact on the world around them in whatever course they choose to pursue. Overall this is a wonderful environment that promotes growth as an individual both academically and personally.

  6. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The advice that I would give myself as a high school senior would be to take some time to think about who you are, and why you want to go where you want to go. I would tell myself that just drifting through life is no way to live, that you have to take action and not be passive, as much as that is part of my personality. I would say that I need to speak up for those who need to be spoken for, I would tell myself that I should maintain the relationships that I have better, that I should be thankful for their impact in my life. I would tell myself that the world is not about me, that I should stop being so narcissistic. The thing that I would have most benefited from though would be to say that I am immature, and I do not deserve the things I have so I should be grateful and be gracious with the people around me.

The worst thing about Oak Hills is the lack of community, since it is such a small school you would think that we would have a great community, but a lot of the people here are not interested in being social. It is what you make it though.
