I wish that I have known about the various oppurtunities that college had to offer me before I attended.
I was fortunate enough to have an excellent group of teachers in high school that prepared me adequately for college. However, I was extremely nervous about staying home at a community college because all of my friends were going away to a big university. I wish I would have known from the beginning how great of an education I could receive from a community college, despite the stereotypical remarks from people attending big ten schools. I also wish I would have known how easily I could made a network of friends even though I would not be living on campus.
I wish I had known to factor in the commute time when I was scheduling my classes.
