What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

On a shallow level, the thing that frustrates me the most is the weather!! But that's probably because I'm from the south. On a more deep level, what frustrates me the most about Oberlin is how we're suppose to be an open/progressive school, but there are SO many judgemental people that try to stamp on other people's beliefs.

Honestly while I love my school it can be frustrating being so far from any kind of city center. I come from a city and enjoyed the benefit of having multiple corner stores within a few blocks from my home. It's amazingly inexpensive food and is by far one of the most convenient aspects of living in a city. Unfortunately its just something Oberlin lacks.

At times the most frustrating thing about Oberlin College was the distance to a major city. If I had attended another school, I feel like I would have more internship or real -life world experience, as such I did not feel completely prepated when I graduated. However, this was not entirely the colelge's fault but I do think the school could have encouraged this kind of growth more.

There isn't really anything that I find frustrating at my school; I love it. I suppose the worst thing is honestly just cell service. The cell service in Oberlin isn't very good at all and that's the only part of Oberlin that is bad. Other than that, I love my school.

Many of my independent for-credit research projects did not affect my GPA.

It's in Ohio. I'm from the Bay Area, north of San Francisco, so I'm used to hills and SUN. But I love my school enough to give it up for 8 months out of the year.

It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, so it's tough to get out of the town, and you can feel trapped sometimes. There's a lot to do here, but sometimes you just want a bit of city life, you know?
