Odessa College has become a place of both comfort and learning for me. The buildings and classroom sizes have been well thought-out and make learning experiences both enjoyable and modern. At Odessa College you will find professors who are engaged in the students academic wellness and are willing to tutor students who may have trouble understanding the material. Having a junior college like Odessa College is a great opportunity for all students who cannot afford a university tuition. Odessa College has been my stepping stone to future success.

The General Studies is good and great way to start on a college life. I enjoy my math teachers. They help you in the best way for an engineering degree. I found that I can make myself succeed by applying my will to it. By it I mean my career choices and life.

Christina

The teachers are very helpful and for the most part answer the questions that I have promptly and in a timely manner. The tutoring rooms and STEM help labs are amazing and the staff is mainly made of students and they are extremely helpful. There are also events to do throughout the day, and there is usually food or snacks provided, which is nice, some of the teachers provide extra credit for attending certain events.

Odessa College FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Odessa College?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Odessa College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

You really need to take more dual credit courses! Try as hard as you can to work through Calculus and get college credit for it before you graduate, because a year off will do you so much harm. If you can decide on your major now, you will be able to move off and kickstart your career. I've been going to school every Winter and Summer session between the Fall and Spring semesters to get ahead. Do you realize that by taking at least 3 more classes in high school you can eliminate one of these semesters? Don't rush it too much though. Take a vacation over Spring break, it might be the last one you get for a very long while. Oh, good luck with Pharmacy school!

  10. Here's your chance: Say anything about your college!

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed in the school that I currently attend and will be transferring out this next semester. The teachers seem completely unprofessional. I had one that showed up in her pajamas every day! Some are easy to contact with the small campus, but the negatives really outweigh the positive aspects.
