Breanna

At OUE, there are so many clubs to join(Nerd Club, lgbtq+ , and bible study to name a few), and since it is a rather small campus everyone becomes friends eventually. The professors are very kind, and have long office hours, you can even call and schedule a time to meet with them if they won't be in. There are always art galleries going on, and activities to help you find a major, get involved, and to get you in the know about trips and studying abroad. It is a very hands-on environment, and being a student gets you into the gym (it's really nice, plenty of room and equipment. not to mention that it's open every day). Overall, OUE is an amazing University. You can easily transfer to the main campus to complete your major if the classes are not offered.

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Ohio University-Eastern Campus?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Ohio University-Eastern Campus is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would consider all my options, the price of tuition, and what college would give me more bang for my money. I would keep in mind that I would need to pick a degree in a field that I like and also provide a secure job. I would still study and try to maintain a grade point average of at least 3.8. I would advise scheduling some "me" time each week to help with relaxin, and to eat properly and get enough rest.

  5. What kind of person should not attend this school?

I don't believe in stipulations when learning is involved. I think it's unfair to cast judgement on people-who knows they may surprise you. Even convicted felons deserve a chance at bettering themselves, who wouldn't want to do that? I understand restrictions, and I don't disagree with them in certain cases, however, just because someone has traversed hard times, perhaps they weren't their best person then; perhaps someone with a low GPA just wasn't presented the challenge or field that they excelled in. It doesn't make them stupid, it makes them human.
