The vibe here is so much more different than anywhere else I've been. This school has a feel that is strangely unique and very familiar. The pace is slower and it's more difficult to feel rushed here, which I think is a very good thing.
The best thing about Ohio University are the resources available to students for degree auditing, academic advising, and tutoring for continued academic success.
I love the small town setting of Athens. I grew up in Cincinnati, where the people are generally not as friendly and there are not as many natural surroundings. There are plenty of outdoor, community, and university activities to choose from. It is generally very laid-back here as well.
The best thing about my school would be the possible relationships that a student is able to build with their professors. The professors for the mosr part are very open minded and are willing to take the time to get to know a student and then when it's time, they will write reccomendations for jobs and graduate school.
The best thing about my school is that I know by getting my degree here, I will have no problem in finding a job after graduate school. For jobs in journalism, physical therapy, medicine, buisness students are given an advantage because these type employers specifically look for Ohio University students .
The Scripps College of Communication I consider the best thing about my school because it is one of the strongest communication programs in the nation. The various schools within the college can hold their own, which further strengthens the program and allows the program to attract the best students. Best part, tons of hands on experience in and out of the classroom make this communications program the best thing about OU.
The small town atmosphere. The hills and the trees are absolutely beautiful in the fall andI love the brick streets and buildings. It feeds small town comfort while still providing diversity within a larger community of students.
The campus is very pretty and the people are nice. I'm honored to be accepted into OU.
The best thing about the school is how comfortable the feel of the campus is - regarding its beauty.
There is always something going on. I am never bored. The people here are so friendly and the night life is just amazing.
The social scene is great. Everyone can find a niche.
This school has the most up to date equipment of any I have seen. As a Digital Media student, every pro program imaginable is able to be accessed 24 hours a day. There are labs that are open 24/7 and there are almost always people there to help you with any project you decide to take up.
Beautiful campus, hundrends of student and community organizations, good art school, good journalism school, and great local town not far from hiking, camping, etc.
I think the best things about my school are its size and faculty. Its small enough to meet people and actually run into them outside of class and get the chance to learn more about them. Also, the faculty is great- compassionate and diversified.
I really love the sense of community that Ohio University has flowing throughout the campus and student body. People connect over their shared experiences and making friends is really easy.
Various programs to suit everyone's interests

The racial and ethnic diversity is wonderful. It helps students become more able to interact with people of different origins than them and provides plenty of opportunities for learning about different cultures and lifestyles.
