So, I work for a DJ company. Legit, I know. And with this job comes opportunities some students never have a chance at. From meeting Shaq to being stationed on the floor of Gallagher-Iba at the 2011 memorial service, my coworkers and I have had rare and amazing experiences. But my favorite, happened just yesterday. As a junior at OSU, I feel like I have lived it all: rushing the court at the KU-OSU men's basketball game, being there when we won Bedlam, studying late nights in Willard, being serenaded by a piano at midnight in the Seretean. Yesterday, though, I was in the Upper Club level of Boone Pickens Stadium. The empty stadium stood before me on my left, and on my right - the expanse of campus in its entirety. Let's just say I am blessed with fun, spontaneous coworkers who think dolly cart racing is the bees knees; along with dolly cart surfing and proving the male coworkers us girls can lift heavy equipment on our own - and yes, our ideas are better. So, as I pretended to own all of Boone Pickens Stadium (thanks, Boone), I thought to myself: "I will never forget this moment."
