The problems between administration and the student/faculty population. There is a lack of communication between the two entities allowing for situations to constantly perpetuate. There is a constant lack of parking, crappy dinning options, and an almost constant battle with either academic services or the bursar.

The worst thing about my school is the parking. OCC has become a overly popular community college but the parking is terrible, especially in the winter.

The crazy snow falls we get in Syracuse. Just trying to get to the campus is a project in itself. The parking is hard to get through also. Other than the Winter weather, OCC has been improving it's image and reputaion over the past 3 years. They have updated most of the classrooms, added dorms, a new sports arena, and a new "Great Room" used for large group meetings in the common area of the Gordon building. Even the cafeteria has had an EXTREME makeover.

They do not have enough student parking

In my opinion, the worst thing about OCC is the Student Central station in Gordon. Most of the time, the time it takes to actually get up to the counter is rediculous and half the time when your number is called you end up getting sent to another number. Another reason why it needs improvement is some of the employees that sit behind that counter are either rude/snotty or they are busy socializing with their co-workers and completely ignoring the persons standing right in front of them.

The worst thing is commuting, because I live 45 minutes away. I figured because this school is within driving distance, I should waste money on living on campus.
