Oregon State University is a great place to grow both in knowledge and as a person. Corvallis is a small college town with big things happening. Campus life is active and there is always something to do. During the Fall, nothing beats going to a Beavers football game and tailgating before and after.

I love love love the campus, sunny days in the Fall and Spring are amazing. The winter can be kind of rough and it is rainy a lot of the time, but the sunny days make up for it. All of the professors are great and super responsive! Overall OSU is a great school!

Oregon State University is an incredible college. After months of meticulous calculating and searching, I finally decided that this University was the one for me. Visiting campus only made me feel more certain in my decision to join Beaver Nation. I am so excited to be a part of the atmosphere, student body, and academic program here at OSU. I feel proud to have been accepted, and am very grateful that I get to be a part of something bigger than myself. The work that students, and faculty, do at Oregon State is unparalleled in other universities. The research and investigating we do as students isn't just helping our grades, it's helping the country progress as one of the smartest, and most technologically advanced nations in the world, and I am more than proud to be a part of it all.

It definitely lives up to the known reputation of having one of the best college towns in the pack twelve. I always feels safe and it is a great little bubble before you have to enter the real world. However, being a physics major has made me aware of some parts of the university that does not get as much attention as others. Greek life is very heavy, to the point that even if you're not in it, it probably still plays a role in your life. Overall, Oregon State is a great university with some parts that could use some work.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Oregon State University is my home. 31,000 students can say that, and I am proud to be one of them. It's funny though, Oregon State was actually the last college I wanted to go to when I was first applying for them in high school. I even wanted to be a duck before I finally made the decision to come to OSU. What did it for me was the visits to both schools. When I got to OSU the first time I couldn't believe the school I had been accepted to. The architecture, the city, the people, everything just spelled out "college town," which was what I was looking for in a school. Plus, I had liked the campus so much on that the single visit that I changed my mind, I was destined to be a beaver. And I am so glad I made that choice. From long nights in the library to the Friday night lights. Oregon State is everything I look for in a school. The education is reputable, plus I am currently involved in research that could put me into graduate school as well as maintain a healthy lifestyle by competitive powerlifting. Both of which couldn't have happened if I didn't come to OSU. So overall, OSU is the best school on the west coast. The curriculum and the campus size gives it a fantastic University feels but the college town around completes the experience.

Oregon State University is a very clean and easy to navigate campus. It might seem big, but after a year there, you practically know where everything is. The only picky thing about it is that there isn't many activities a youthful adult might engage in. OSU needs to have more availabilities on campus so that students without cars can easily go to on the weekends since there are a few of us who don't party and drink. Otherwise, it has been a great school with so many opportunities, it's easy to find a place where you can feel like you belong.

OSU is a fantastic college for anyone who wants to learn. This is especially true for engineering students. Yes, there is some partying to be found. But usually it occurs off campus with the fraternities and sororities. And you will never be pressured to do anything against your will. It's a great community with lots of extracurricular opportunities to be found no matter your interests.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Overall, Oregon State is a great school. My only dislike is the location. Corvallis is a very small town and there isn't a whole lot to do locally unless you are 21 and can go to the bars. The classes are great and the teachers are willing to help during their office hours.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Oregon State is a very pretty and nicely sized campus. The Honors College has full tenured track faculty and small classes, and it's worth applying if you're a science or engineering major. There are many clubs and extracurricular activities. There is a lot of school pride. On the downside, teachers in entry-level courses can be disengaged, the student health services can be inept, and we have had several hate speech incidents and sexual assault cases.
