A person shouldn't attend this school if he or she is used to spending lengthy amounts of time with the opposite sex. This school has strict open dorm times and days. Someone shouldn't attend this school if he or she is offended by Baptist beliefs, this is a Baptist school and Chapel is mandatory.
Someone who want to go "party" all the time. The classes require plenty of devotion, and there are not many "parties" at OBU. The majority of the students are well-organized, clean, creative people. Most of us can not tolerate people who want to get drunk every night.
A lazy person should not attend OBU.
This school takes a lot of work and studying. If you don't want to put a lot of time into school work, this isn't the place for you.
People that need to live in city.
Someone who will be easily offended by a strong Christian focus or is unopen to expressing their religious opinions would not enjoy Ouachita. There are people who can be a little over the top in expressing their beliefs and it can feel like anyone who isn't an active and growing Christian will be utterly out of place and unaccepted by some. As long as you are undaunted by others not sharing your views, life is wonderful here.
