The best thing about Ouachita Baptist is how available the professors are to help the students outside of class hours. They are almost always willing to set up appointments to help students with any problems, and most professors will even allow students to walk into their offices without appointments to discuss things.

The atmosphere is amazing. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The professors are extremely helpful and the facilities are amazing. I love the campus life and how everyone understands when you say "I have to study" and even volunteer to help you if they can. Everyone that leaves here feels very prepared for the next steps in their lives and they stay "Tiger's for life."

The professors at Ouachita are great. They really care about their students and their subjects. The history and Christian studies departments are especially wonderful, in my experience. They're very knowledgeable about their subjects and very good at making the students want to learn. Several of the professors have their students over to their houses on occassion.

I think the community aspect of my school is what makes it appealing to myself and other students who attend.

The best thing about Ouachita Baptist University is the quality of education that you recieve. Once you decide the academic program that you want to pursue, you learn a lot of helpful material that will guide you in the correct direction.

The people are really nice

The environment! The people, the food, the atmoshpere, morals, values... At OBU we are very GREEN, in every dorm there is at least 6 recycling bins for paper, plastic and glass. Also, there is a ton of way that we are presented to give back to Arkadelphia's community. Once a year there is a big event which the majority of the school body attend, Tiger Serve Day! All day we go around town cleaning barns, picking up trash, and offering our services to local businesses.

it is just an amazing school! everybody is so awsome and will do anythin they can to help you at any time. The teachers and advisors are great and the students are just as awesome which makes its even better!!

The ability to interact with faculty, staff, and administration in a manner that clearly expresses their desire to cultivate and enrich the lives of each individual student. That's what drew me!

I love the atmosphere of Ouachita. This place is like my home because the people are so friendly and there is a kindness that spreads like wildfire as soon as you set foot on campus. People you don't even know will say "hello" to you on the sidewalks. Cafeteria workers give out candy bars during Christmastime when you answer trivia questions correctly. Professors invite you to their homes for get-togethers and dinners just because they want to. There is no place in the world like Ouachita Baptist University.

The entire atmosphere. There is nothing about OBU that I would even think of changing. We are an incredibly friendly campus with professors who want you to succeed and will do anything within their power to see you do so. We also have students around campus that do not mind tutoring you or helping you with assignments for classes that they have already had. Everyone you see on campus is willing to help you as an individual succeed academically and socially.

The best thing about Ouachita Baptist University is the smaller class size and the ability to have one on one time with professors when you need help with classwork. There is also a great school spirit at OBU in support of the athletic teams
