I enjoy the small classes, but I have not found my niche among the very elitist student body.

PLU students have the best of best worlds: a small enough student body (of roughly 3,500 students) to have a great student to teacher ratio in each class, (My smallest class has had 5 kids, and my largest had 50), but still enough students so that after you have a fallout with your ex-roommate, you won't be seeing them around campus at every inconvenient moment. It is easy to get involved at PLU, in everything from intramural sports to ASPLU, our student government organization. You may hear horror stories of the area around PLU, but it really isn't that bad. Especially under the "Lute-Dome" the area surrounding PLU with houses students rent, and great coffee shops and other college necessities. There is a lot of school pride, and for good reason. Our sports teams, student productions, organizations and music groups all rock, campus life is a wild ride and PLU is well regarded, especially in the northwest, by employers and graduate schools alike.
