About colloquy and about it being mandatory.
I was most unprepared to enter a quarter system from a trimester system school. As a non traditional student, the adjustment was made more difficult because my children also where attending new schools. The truth is once we were moved in and all had our schedules it could not have turned out better. This is the perfect environment for focused learning and help. There are free tutor sessions, helpful instructors and counselors and beautiful atmosphere as we are surrounded by nature and wineries.
Oddly, I don't wish to have known more or less about my school before I came here. I came to this school not knowing what to expect and it welcomed me with open arms. Soon, it became a place I could call home and I don't think I'd change any part of this experience.
No matter who you were or what you did in high school, when you start college you are given the opportunity to become whatever you want in life. Some days you might want to give up, but days like this only make tomorrow better. Make friends with the teachers, it isn?t enough to simply go to class, get what you pay for, in the end it will be your future that is affected. Lastly, never sacrifice your principles; become today and what you want to be tomorrow.

That it was going to be a struggle to get non federal loans or loans not given by the school
