Pacifica Graduate Institute Jungian Studies program is for the highly motivated depth psychology student, who is capable of self study and large amounts of independent reading. There are no exams, except to graduate. All courses require term papers. The campus is lovely, very peaceful. The food is excellent and the dorm rooms are very sparse and simple, but clean, with a shared bathroom. There is one 4 day residency requirement per quarter. Overall, I would rate this program favorably, but it takes time to adjust to the online learning module format. I find the professors knowledgeable and available to answer questions and provided feedback.

Mythological Studies at Pacifica is an education you cannot get anywhere else. The Professors are eminent in the field and incredibly published. I love this school. It has challenged me mentally, socially, academically, and spiritually. It is a school outside mainstream that is for those who wish to take a more intense and soul rendering path. Not for the faint. Easy to get in. Hard to stay because it is rigorous. Love it.

Looking forward to attending Fall of 2018. I have choices for other universities but Pacifica calls the loudest. The grounds and surrounding area is magical.

Caitlin - 07/25/2017

This is not a typical campus setting in that we do not attend five days a week. We arrive from all over the world for three days of intensive lecture and stimulating discussion. All assignments are completed off campus. For anyone who wants to delve into the world of the unconscious and how the unconscious manifests in our daily lives, this is the place for you!
