A lot of people think that because PBA is in an extremely affluent area, that all the students who go here are rich and white. Also, many have the idea that we are all beach bums who don't actually care about our education.
People generally assume that all PBA students are tan.
PBA students have been stereotyped as rich and cliquey. Because PBA is a multi-denominational school with 98{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the student body being Christian, students are either said to be Jesus Freaks or Fake Jesus Freaks.
Many people would stereotype all PBA students to be beach bum surfers who all play the guitar.
A lot of students come to PBA for the beach, being that is in walking distance from campus. This lends itself to the steretype that a lot of PBA students are surfers and beach bums.
One main stereotype that is at PBAU is that we are a bunch of surfers who go to class and then live at the beach otherwise.
