I think the best thing about our school is that we have a twenty-four hour access to tutoring. I think its great that there are tutors available online at any time of the day who are willing to help give you advice on things such as ideas for an essay. Also, there are a variety of tutors who can help you in almost every subject.

The community college in which I am currently enrolled is quite unique. It is jointly administered by a great staff of professors; in addition the community education center provides students with vocational training for entry level positions in a variety of occupations, which provide for lifelong learning opportunities through areas of socialization, enrichment, and skill development leading toward personal fulfillment and greater involvement in the community. As a result, I have acquired quality education in order to successfully succeed in a more capable workforce to meet the needs of current trends.

I feel Pasadena City College's best quality is the learning environment. The friendly campus makes it easier and more enjoyable as well. Inside the classroom the professors do an excellent job of teaching and holding your attention for the entire class session. The profressors also do a great job of helping students with questions, problems, sometimes personal issues in the classroom or giving students the opportunity to stop by their office.For me being in this fun and costructive institution has helped me grow as a student and also as a young man.

Pasadena City College has one of the highest transfer rates in California. PCC has the needed resources and opportunities for students who plan to transfer to a four-year university. One of the primary objectives of the PCC teachers and administrators is to help students transfer and to prepare them for their future endeavors at four-year universities. I consider this one of the best things about my school because most students in community college plan to transfer. The PCC faculty work efficiently to help students achieve this goal.

Often referred to as "the Harvard of Community Colleges", Pasadena City College is taught by a community of professors who take pride in molding their students by challenging their thoughts and preconceived notions. That sense of esteem trickles down to the students who take an immense pride in calling themselves "Lancers".

Even though Pasadena City College is one of the largest community colleges in the nation, I have been impressed with the personal attention I have received from professors and administrators. Professors make available their office hours and even their email addresses to students and they welcome conversation and collaboration, which makes getting my education feel like a team effort in which I am never alone.

The teaching staff. The professors at Pasadena City college want to see their students excell. Every professor that I have had the honor of taking has always gone the extra mile to help me succeed. They are caring a professional and they all seem to enjoy teaching their students.

When I first walk through the doors of a classroom, I enter a world where everyone starts off as an equal. It's up to individuals to make decisions to do well and work hard, or simply waste their time. In my personal experience, I've learned that professors at my school take the time to let you know that they are there to help you succeed as long as you are willing to put in the effort, and that is what I consider the best thing about my school.
