If I could go back in time and talk to my senior self i would tell Senior me that I am proud of myself for deciding to go to community college. I would tell myself not to worry about or think about how everyone else was going to some fancy schools while I went to the community college nearby.I would tell myself to not let myself be brought down by the bullies in my grade because I won't ever see them again. I would tell myself that although the entance process for EOF required a lot it would all be worth it. Yes, I would have to give up my Senior summer to take an English class and a workshop for EOF, but it would all be free including the food so I should be greatful. I would tell myself to not feel sad or nervous about going to a different campus from my best friend since third grade because I would make new very great friends. Some of which I would meet in very peculiar situations so I should not fret because things happen for a reason. Lastly, I would say just be yourself.

If I could go back to my senior year in college, I would tell myself take advantage! Apply for college early, so you can enjoy it, and dorm. Do the EOF program to meet new people, and get involved with school activites! I would say take chances with new things, and don't get so caught up with relationships. Do what is best for you, and worry about yourself more!

I would have started off at Passaic County Community College so I could save up money for a big four year university. The classes I'd be taking would be just as good as any other college, and it would have prepared me so much better financially for that. Also, make sure you take your education seriously. There's a reason you're going to school and that's for your future career. If you want to be the best, then do your best.

If I were to talk to myself as a high school senior, I would tell myself to be careful with junior year. Not to mix with the bad crowd and to try hard. Not to procrastinate with college applications and to apply for every scholarship there is out there. To take all the opportunities to enroll in honor programs. To make sure I have every project, and every single assignment done for school. I would also tell myself not to stress so much about the work, because in college it only gets harder. I would also most likely yell at myself for playing around in my junior year. For not taking everything so seriously.

If i could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, i would advice myself to stay focused. I would stress the fact that an education is very important. Sometimes we feel school is boring and a drag, but to be honest knowledge is priceless. One can take everything from you although, they can not take a way what you know. A great education well help you enormously on a day to day basis. There is plenty of time to party, so there is no need to feel like the club scene will leave tomorrow. College is a great place to meet great people and to get involved with many fun activities. College is an invesment of time and money that in the end will pay off. College also allows you to explore things you never even imagined. Being well educated opens your mind to great things and ideas. It helps you find yourself and what you are about. Knowing what and why things matter to you is one of the greatest gifts college helps you recieve in addition to a degree and a buddle of future career oppurtunties.

The advice I would give myself is not to slack off as much as I did. I should have been more active in looking for scholarships and looking for colleges. I would tell myself that laziness never pays off and just to believe in myself and don't think that you don't need the education because everyone should further their education. Not many people have that chance because they have kids or just gave up. I would tell myself that college is the way to go so that I could get the career I want, that suits me, to help others.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, I think that I would have alot of advice to give. First, I would tell myself that your senior year in high school is not the time to stop all efforts. If anything, this is your last chance to bring up your GPA. Not only should you focus on getting your GPA where it needs to be, but it is also a good time to get in some extra curricular activities and community services. It isn't only good for your college application, but for your personal life as well. Another topic I would like to give myself advice on is scholarships; apply to every scholarship you can! College is expensive-- not only do you have to pay for tuition, but books become expensive, too, as well as extra supplies you might need for a class.

Do what you can to get the best education for less. Work as hard as you can in high school so you can be eligible for the New Jersey Stars Program, go to a community college, and finish at your favorite four year college in the state. You'll leave college with a four year degree and without a single loan. Secondly, keep your goals in mind and try to picture yourself in 5 or 10 years at least once a week to keep motivated. The only driving force getting you through college is your own and you need to do whatever it takes to keep that force strong, or else you might not make it through. Also, right now you are probably relying on your friends to escape your studies, but do not take them forgranted. Someday, you won't want to deal with the drama of your friends and peers, and your studies will be one of the best escapes. When friends are unreliable, your education is not. You will always get out of college exactly what you put in, without any surprises. Lastly, good luck. You could use it.

If I knew, as a highschool senior, what I know now I would have taken a different path in continuing my education. In highschool, I thought I could get through my life by working. I choose to go to an automotive trade school because I worked as a mechanic and I figured when I graduated I would get a high paying job in a car dealership and turn it into a career. After graduating trade school the only thing i got was a job at a dealership. Later to find out that it wasn't high paying or a good career choice. Having a full time job for three years and calculating my salary I realized how much money an individual needs to live. This enlightened me about my future and I decided to go back to college. I wanted seek an engineering degree throughout highschool but i took the easy way out. If I was a senior again, I would tell myself that nothing in life is easy so dont be lazy and go to college because in the four years you will waste in trade school and working you will graduate college with a bachelors.

Knowing what I know now would allow me to help myself better prepare for the college life I set out to live. I attended Saint Peter's College for a short while and I was not as prepared as I thought I was. I would have made sure I had more funds available and even saved my own money instead of relying on scholarships and loans that didnt work out so well. I would have been doing everything possible to raise the money I needed for school. Budgeting has never been a problem for me, but I did not have the money to pay my tuition so I would focus there. That is the only thing I would need to do because I handled college very well and it was not a bad transition for me because I am a very outgoing person. Money is an issue for most prospective college students and I would have some words of wisdom for myself.

You should've have applied for a lot of scholarships and shouldn't have allowed others to sway your decision on what school to attend and what you want to do with YOUR life. Be prepared for a lot of changes in your personal life and the relationships to the people around you. Although you have always excelled in school even though you have been through a lot keep a positive attitude and stay strong. The times you feel like giving up and giving in those are the times when you need to persevere and shine through it all. You will have professors and others students around you that would make you love the subject you actually despise....MATH! You will discover new things and new ideas and even figure out that you like Philosophy. You just have to think outside the box. Open yourself up to other students and become more involved in the community and in school. You are bright and beautiful and always have been this isn't the end but the beginning.
