To someone who has never seen Penn State it probably looks like a very large blue and white campus. The campus is rather large, but it is beautiful. Penn State students has a lot of pride, and that is very easy to see.

From the outside, Penn State University Park seems large and impossible to navigate. It is difficult for someone who doesn't attend the university to understand how easy it is to learn the campus and make it seem smaller by getting involved in student organizations or sports. After two weeks on campus, I knew my way around! It no longer seems as large as it did on my initial visit. I often run into many people I know while walking around because I chose to get involved in a lot of extracurricular activities, which helps you to meet new people and make your campus feel like home.

My school is a very large place. The first time I saw my school it looked like a city but that's basically what it is anyway. My school is a whole entire city with the majority population being college students and the rest are regular people that live there. At my school we have a football stadium, an ice cream creamery,several other food places, a mall, all types of clothing stores and on and off campus housing. The way the school is set up on campus and off campus are connected and unless you are a student you wont know the difference because off campus is still our school property and that is why it is considered to be its own city. On campus there are the buildings where class takes place, food places, the library and the dorms. On campus housing is divided into four sections, north, south, east and west. Off campus housing varies because its just like living in the city, people live in houses, apartments, condos etc. Because of the large stature of the school it is very difficult to describe its appearance and the best possible image I can give you is that it looks like a city with houses, shopping stores, fast food places and bars everywhere. In my opinion if people didn't walk around with our school apparel on it would be hard to tell that this was a school.

Penn State is a close-knit community with many great student organizations, fun extracurricular activities, interesting courses, and many opportunities to make students more successful.

Penn State - Main Campus is an amazing large institution with a multitude of opportunities available to students who actually take the time to find and utilize them to their fullest.

My school contains many diverse students from others countries over the world. It is a wonderful place to gain extensive knowledge and get to know many people from different countries and learned various cultures from them. It has many useful programs that offer a lot of opportunities to students to participate in activities that can improve and enhance their communitcation and social skills . In addition, it has a plent of the main majors for student to choose and complete their desire or insterest in the field of study.
