The sports scene on campus is a pretty big deal. Penn State comes in the top rankings for sports every year. The wrestling team has won it's third consecutive national championships, and many teams have won their Big Ten championships. Sports are a great way to socialize with other people, including intramural sports which are very big on campus.
Football dominates the sports scene on campus. Gameday Saturdays are the most anticipated days during the fall semester. Cheering on the Nittany Lions in the student section in Beaver Stadium is something that will never get old. The other sports teams on campus definitely deserve more recognition and student support than they currently receive. Those student athletes are equally talented and I plan on making more of an effort to support them in the future.

While basketball may not be as large of an event as football, the spirit is still there. The Men's and Women's basketball team plays at the Bryce Jordan Center, a 15,000 seat arena and event venue for fans to enjoy.
