Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Erie-Behrend College Top Questions

What's unique about your campus?

The educational facility as a whocle is exceptional. Although it is a school heavily geared toward engineering, the classes and teachers geared toward other areas such as film studies, political science, and theater are also very high quality.

I feel that the education is very benefical. I feel like most all the professors and the student life are all very friendly and willing to help you out when it is needed. I also like the fact that they give free tutoring and it's very helpful and organized.

The best thing I would say about Erie Behrend College would be how committed to the faculty is to teaching us our studies and the commitment they have to their jobs. This makes all the students try a lot harder at what they are studying and it makes us want to succeed and push harder for that success everyone's trying to achieve.

Close knit community. People work together and there are lot of people who are willing to help you.

The education the students receive. The classes are not too big, you get to have one-on-one time with your professor, and the professors really know their information and you really learn a lot.

The nice big campus. And the involved staff.

It's a relatively small campus but the people are warm and friendly and very helpful. It offers the opportunities of a big college. I have made tons of connections through my professors and staff and friends. I feel like i'm not just a number. It's very easy to reach your goals - they always try to help you out. I've learnt so much during my four years here and I am so thankful to everyone.

The availability of small size classes and larger classes. Their are class sizes to accomodate any different way that students would like.

The teachers are well prepared for what they teach.

The best thing about Penn State Erie would have to be the faculty's willingness to help us as the students to do our very best. Of course there are exceptions to this, but for the most part, the classes are more rigorous and the staff more demanding because they can work one on one with the students.
