What's unique about your campus?

Morgan

The best thing about my school is THON. THON is a yearlong effort to raise funds and awarness for the fight against pediatric cancer as well as the world's largest student-run philanthropy. When I first came to Penn State Harrisburg I was a little apprehensive about making friends and starting a new chapter in my life, but THON made it a piece of cake. I was able to continue a pasion from high school in college making the giant step a lot easier.

The reason my school is so great is the wealth of knowledge and opportunities available to me. No matter what subject is your forte there is sure to be an expert on it right on campus. They offer many four year degrees as many other Penn State branch campuses do not. The teachers are helpful and wise. They are sure to point you in the right direction every time while excelling your own knowledge of the subject you seek to know more about. It is truly a great campus to attend.

The best thing about my school is that it is a Penn State Campus without having to be a University Park which is huge, compared to the Harrisburg Campus. Everyone is very nice and loving at the school, including faculity.

Sonia

The teachers are willing to take on students in research projects, unlike the Penn State's Main campus. The professors at Penn State Main are only interested in Honor's college students and don't give other undergraduates a chance to take part in research.

Anna

Small classes allow for personal attention and help from professors.

Brandy

I have attended both Penn State Main Campus for my first BS and now Penn State Harrisburg. As far as a scientific career is concerned the small classes and helpfulness of the professors really is beneficial here. They are extremely engaging and invovle you in research. Professors here make sure you can synthesize and perform on your own.
