A great place to start any Penn State journey. Very small class size and feels like high school. Everyone I met was nice and accepting. The professors were also extremely kind as well as available. As a commuter, I had a short walk to my classes, but it is definitely better than what you would have to do at Main. It feels like home and I hope others enjoy it the way I do. We Are!
Well , In my point of view It's beautiful place to study and safe . there are a lot of houses with a good scenery , The people is very friendly , they try to help you in some things that you don't know , Each year the university make sports event , It's very exited since you can practice some sports , It is very good since you can be on fit. So I give 4 starts to five.
I originally chose to go here because I wanted to be closer to home, which has been great for my first two years. I have learned that I do not like how close I am to home, how small the campus is, and how the campus is in the middle of nowhere. The class size is great because they are small but I feel like there's never anything to do. There is nothing close by.
Penn State Mont Alto is a beautiful campus. The class sizes are small and you really get to know your professors and other students. All of the professors I've had so far are great and they really care about their students success. There is a fair amount of activities to get involved in, but it is a small campus so there isn't as much offered at this campus as there would be at bigger campuses.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Mont Alto is 77%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would tell myself to take my studies very seriously in preparation for college.
students who are hard working and dedicated to being successful .
Anyone who enjoys the country side, and quietness.
Diversity is a key element on college campuses because it allows one to learn more about other cultures.
The parking lot is not big enough for all of the students who live here. Often times people who do not go to school here use our parking spots and we, the residents of the dorms, have to park in the "commuter" lot and have to walk a half mile to get back to our dorms.
Penn State Mont Alto is a small campus with high expectations. The professors provide a great education to the students in attendance and create a fun learning environment. Penn State Mont Alto is a close-knit family of students and professors who all work together to help each other succeed.
Personally, the worst thing about my school is the fact that it is in the country. It is not a city-like area. Unless you own a car you are limited to traveling off campus because the nearest gas station is about 3 miles away and the nearest WalMart is even further.
My classmates are driven and ambitious about success, yet love to have fun while enjoying the college experience.
Some things I wish I would have known before entering college is that nothing is easy. There is no such thing as an easy college career. Scholarships do not walk right up to you, you have to tale them by sheer effort. I did not put much effort into my academics by not studying or doing home assignments, and I did not use the resources that was available to make my transition to college more smooth. What I'm saying is I would of have put in more effort to ensure a better future.
Beautiful campus.
