My school, the current campus that I am at is known for the quietness, music heads, and school work. There is barely anything that goes on except the basketball games. Every now and then something might pop up but it's always off campus somewhere.

Penn State Schuylkill is known for having the 2+2 program, in which students can study in Penn State Schuylkill for two years and then transfer to Penn State University Park for their remaining two years. I think many students benefit from this option in several ways. First of all, students save a lot of money on tuition and room and even printing charges (which can add up). Also, since the main Penn State campus is extremely huge, Schuylkill gives students a feel of a small campus that might make them fell more comfortable during their first couple of years.

My school is best known for its teaching credentials. A lot of people that go to my school get there education in communication and later go on to get there credentials to teach.

PSU is known for manythings, but Schuylkill campus isweel known forits excellent psych. and criminal justice programs. The staff and faculty are very student friendly and willing to give each student the individual attention they need. There are many undergraduate programs designed to ready students for they move to other campuses inthe PSU network. Additionally one of schuylkill campuses greatest assets is the CAA. This is the tutoring service which is staffed by students with professional oversight. The knowledge that this service is there is of great comfort due to its wide availability to all students of all majors.

The Penn State name, it is a very well known school and looks good on any resume.

Diversity is a big focus at our school. People of all races attend here and no one judges.

Amount the students who attends Penn Statee Schuylkill, i believe we are best known for being called the "skook". The skook is a slag word that most of the students here uses, referring to Schuykill Haven.

Our college was built at 1855 and it was the first university of Pennsylvania. Then when we come to our campus, we knew the main campus is big. And they have a lot of the apartment and supermarket aroud the main campus. Just like a small town. Except that our college they have a lot of major we can choose to contiune our education., no matter what kind the degree or major you need. We can find out from our college. And on our campus, not even just get the education. We can get all kind of the sports too.

Our female basketball team. We have made it to the championship 4 years in a row. We weren't very successful but to be able to make it to the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park (main campus) is a great accomplishment .

The computer lab used to be a morgue, and there are still doors to the former cremating ovens in the teacher's parking lot.

Although my school is currently the "Number One Party School" and has a celebrated football team, I prefer to focus on their academics and their professors. As an adult student, I appreciate the flexible schedule they offer me, as well as the abundance of classes to chose from.
