I wish I would of known someone else besides myself that planned on attending my school
That there was going to be alot more time studying for tests
Honestly nothing school everything was explained in the first year seminar class.
I wish I had known more what the student population was like. There are a lot of people from the city and they act differently then students from the area.
Nothing. I was told about several things from this campus before I even applied.
HOW IMPORTANT EDUCATION TRULY IS IN THE WORLD WE LIVE IN. HOW EASY IT WAS TO APPLY. ALSO THE ENCOURAGEMENT FROM PSU EMPLOYEES WAS A GREAT FOR ME. I WISH I WOULD HAVE STARTED ALONG TIME AGO. AS FOR ME, I THINK SCHOOL IS AWESOME. I HOPE I CAN CONTINUE AND TO BE AN INSPIRATION FOR OTHERS, KNOW MATTER WHAT AGE THEY ARE.
I wish I could have known what I wanted to major in so that I could start taking specific classes for that major instead of every regular general education class. It's nothing to be worried about right now, but I like to be sure about things, so I'm putting careful thought into the decision of my major so that I don't change my mind about it in the future.
i really looked into this campus before I went there made many of visits, but when I started to attend classes I relized how great it is with the small classes and the time the professors take with every student to any one who attends this school the professors and support staff makes you feel relaxed and at ease.
I wish that I had known the extent of the willingnessof the staff to help in obtaining financial aid and the proper class schedual. Knowing this fact might of facilatated my return to higher education much sooner.
I wish I have known that the campus was so boring because there's never anything to do. The campus is no fun at all.
I wish, I could of learned a lot more in chemistry before I came to college.
Before I came to school I wish I would have known not to buy my school books from the book store.
The size and location of the school.
It's a lot of driving.
How many majors are Penn State have? That is my first question that I want to ask before I came to our college. The second one was how good on each of major the Penn State have. And before I came to Penn State, I choose to live on campus. So I do not know how is the environment of the campus. And the last question is when we graduate from our college, is it we will have chance to join the training programme to work on our major. Because all company they want us have some experiences on college.
I wish i would have known more about the diversity of ethnic groups attending the school.
I wish I had known about the campus itself more, the facilities and services available to students. As an adult student, I don't feel I received the full orientation that traditional students received.
I wish i would have knwon more about the area that is is located in
Being a college student, money runs out very quickly. During my freshman year I was recieving money from my mother and father, but recently they've been in some financial trouble. Even though they aren't able to put as much in for my education I am still not recieving any aid from the school. Due to the FASFA they only see the figures. Well it's more than just how much my father makes. They don't understand that it is costly living in Connecticut. I wish I knew that I needed to work more before college started.
I wish I had known how important it was to have a car in this area and how much more money I would need. I had no idea how many things you needed to pay for when you are in college.
Befor coming to this school, I wish I had known how to cook. I was accoustomed to eating out, so cooking wasnt a skill I needed to acquire. Once I arrived here, I realized I was going to need to learn if I wanted to eat the food I wanted. I eventually learned how to cook and I am pretty good at it now.
what college is all about
I would have liked to have checked out the other campuses that Penn State offers. However, I do enjoy my experience at the Schuylkill Campus.
Pretty much nothing. I think it's good to go into something not knowing what to expect and it's a great learning experience for all students.
I wish I would have known the great professors this school has.
Though I have come to rather enjoy the solotude of my surroundings, I think I would have liked to have known more about the community in terms of surrounding activities. There are limited malls, restaurants, theatres, etc. in the immediate area and the closest ones are a bit of a drive away. Without a car its near impossible to explore the area outside the city. I don't even party as much but, even a nearby dance club in the area would help to control the amount of party's that get shut down due to disturbing neighbors and such.
where the class rooms were
How much it was going to cost.
How strict Penn State is with their controlled majors, and that everything in the Penn State system is paperless so when there is a problem it is difficult to get it straightened out.
Just what the classes where going to be like.
