I most often brag about the location of my school. Our campus is gorgeous and the city of Malibu is a fantastic place to live. I can walk to the beach from campus. LA and Santa Monica are only a 30 to 45 minute drive away giving us a variety of options for activities on the weekends.
When bragging about my school, I relish being able to tell them about the truly wonderful, stand-out people who attend, have attended or teach there. Pepperdine has a knack for drawing gregarious, charismatic, beautiful and well-rounded people who share many hopes of bettering themselves, the community and our world; something which I have yet to hear about any other institution of higher education.
The professors and classes at Pepperdine are the best. Compared to other schools, Pepperdine Professors offer more office hours and help. No teacher assistant has ever taught the class in place of the professor. Most of my professors answer an e-mail in less than 24 hours. The class size is smaller than most universities and comfortable for me.
The community at Pepperdine is something that I haven't experienced before. I have friends here that I know I can rely in at any moment in time and my teachers care about my success as a student as well. They want the best for me and will be at school extra hours to make sure I am understanding the class material. Going to a smaller school has the great experience of small classroom sizes and truly knowing my professors and the people in my class rather than a large lecture hall. It has been the perfect fit.
Besides the visual beauty, I enjoy all the opportunities and gifts given by the school. As a smaller school, there is a lot more opportunity for personal attention in classes and with faculty and advisors. We have a writing center to help with essays, a speech lab to aid with public speaking presentations, a career center that helps students tailor their resumes and practice mock interviews, as well as much more. Pepperdine is a school with many resources to be taken advantage of.
My bragging rights stem from Pepperdine's location. I love to tell everyone how every morining I get to wake up with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Pepperdine is located in the heart of Malibu, which means that Pepperdine students have access to it all. I am within walking distance to the beach and only a short drive from Santa Monica and downtown L.A.. I love to brag about where I get to live because living at Pepperdine is truly a once in a lifetime kind of experience.
Pepperdine has one of the eprettiest campuses in the world. It is fantastic to be living on such prime real estate. Not many people say tehy can see teh ocean from their dorm room.
As unique as it sounds, I love bragging about our bathrooms. Pepperdine is a liberal arts university, so we're smaller. Naturally, that means that one dorm has six suites, and in one suite, eight girls. The bathroom is cleaned every day by a warm house-keeping staff who vacuums the suite's common area, wipes the bathroom floors, and cleans our shower stalls. I love that when I'm lazy, I can walk in without shoes and feel comfortable. With two toilets, two shower stalls, and two sinks for just eight of us, we never fight over the bathroom.
I brag about the location of my university and that it is located in beautiful Malibu.
The location and the view. It doesn't get any better than looking out your dorm room window and seeing the ocean!
The super friendly and caring people, along with the beautiful views.
The location, the weather, the community, the professors, the classes, the opportunites the list honestly is never ending. Pepperdine truly is everything I imagined my college experience to be. I truly have no complaints.
Pepperdine not only is beautifully located atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, but the Professors take a real investment into their student's lives. Most of my classes have 15-20 people in them and Professors get to know their students and their work styles very well. It is not uncommon to see Professors and students grabbing lunch or coffee together because the educators here love relating to their pupils on a personal level as peers.
The school i go to has so many opportunities. First of all Pepperdine has a superior International Program so a student can study abroad for a semester, year, or summer term at a country of their choosing. THe school also has a fantastic staff. All the teachers at the school are almost overqualified to be just a teacher. There is so much the faculty offers and i don't think you could get a better education. The campus and location is also beautiful and just overall has a fantastic environment for a student of any age.
The view of the ocean/beauty of the campus, the great professors, the study-abroad program that I'm participating in, and the Christian community.
Pepperdine has one of the most helpful faculty members. It is so great to know that at any given time anyone is more than willing to assist students in whatever they need hep with. Faculty members become advisors and can help lead you in the right path not only in your professional life but also your private life. Pepperdine creates a family community that is evident throughout the capus.
Location
we're right in front of the beach.
Location and weather
The one thing that i brag about my school is the beautiful weather and the amazing view that we have.
The location. We are right near the beach. The housing is also fantastic.
It's in Malibu, California.
I brag about the location. The scenery is breathtaking and serene, there are no bad views on campus anywhere and at times it is hard to not stop and look out above the campus, which over looks the Pacific Ocean, you cannot beat that anywhere!
I definitely brag about the amount of true friendships I have found with people I can fully express myself around and still be accepted. Also , I brag on the relationships with my professors and the interest they take in everyone of their students. The professors always knows our name whether the class is big or small. I also brag about how amazing to see the ocean everyday walking to class, especially since I grew up in a desert. I love to study outside on the rolling green hills. This school is everything I dreamed of and more!
The professors are great and the campus and facilities are amazing.
