Be prepared for amplified academics. This college is not something you can take lightly like high school. Begin all homework as soon as possible and enjoy free time later. Save every penny. There are more important things to spend money on than fast food and snacks. Work as much as possible because money becomes scarce. Do not underestimate the value of the people around you. You may not see many of them for quite some time or at all after this year. Time will go by fast so don't blink. Before you know it it will be graduation day and you will be left wondering where it all went. Do not let ur classes get in the way of your education. Take advantage of the library and your professors outside of the classroom and assigned projects. Learning goes beyond homework. Work harder on getting scholarships because otherwise Dad will have to fight tooth and nail to keep you in school. Tuition aint cheap and their twenty fifth anniversary is coming up. Don't forget to call home every once in a while and let them know you care. Don't worry too much. You will be fine.
