PPCC offers the opportunity fore the traditional and the non traditional student to succeed. Providing access to online classes as well as on campus. The facilities are exceptional as well as the availability of the staff. They make the effort to ensure all of the student concerns are a priority. PPCC makes education affordable and attainable for those who may not have had the chance to excel otherwise.

It is an amazing place. The teachers are generally very friendly, and always interested in helping you out. But occasionally there will be one or two who aren't the best. The classroom atmosphere is great! It's very easy to make friends. In the library you can book study rooms, which helps out a lot. There's a computer lab, and the Library have computers if you are in need, which I absolutely love. They have so many places where there are tutors for different subjects, and that helped me out a lot. The few downsides to the campus itself is, the bathrooms could be better. The cafe as well, the food is really expensive. But other than that, I think this school is amazing!

PPCC is a high quality school that does not receive enough credit, primarily due to the fact that it is community college and universities seem to be all that matter in today's society. It has high quality education for affordable costs and has something for everyone to enjoy. It is filled with wonderful people, a diverse culture, brilliant minds, and excellent resources. The teachers care about their students and want to see them succeed.

High school was intimidating enough, but as a fifteen-year-old concurrent enrolled student attending classes at Pikes Peak Community College I was scared out of my mind. The moment I walked into the classroom, I faced diversity like I never experienced. To my left, there was a fifty-year-old man who had dreams to make his life better. To my right, there was a girl who just recently graduated high school and was trying to find her way through life. And behind me, there were students of all race, ethnicity, religion, and age. In my small school, I never had anything quite like this, so it was intimidating at first, but then I grown to like it. I grew to like it because I learned so much from the people around me- gained viewpoints and ideas that never occurred to me. And despite my age, people were welcoming, were genuine into getting to know me, and encouraged me to reach for my dreams and aspire. I made many friends and peers who I was able to help and who were able to help me. There were also plenty of resources available that helped me achieve the best education I could. The math lab was like a second home to me, due to all the hours I spent their getting help, and the writing lab had improved my writing skills in ways I couldn't imagine. Now, I'm getting all A's in my papers instead of failing each and every one. There had been a few teachers that did not meet my expectations, for they were hard to work with, did not really teach the material in a understanding way, but a real transformation occurred in me when I attended Pikes Peak Community College. I learned that going to school is really not all about grades. It's seeking knowledge, to better yourself mentally and gain more knowledge of the world and those around you, working with peers to help one another achieve their goals, and not only dream but work for your dreams. It is true what they say. Students succeed at PPCC.

Its a great community college where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together for education. The teachers are helpful and there to help as well as being well versed in the subjects they teach. Most students are there to complete prerequisites for their bachelors degree which they will finish at a university and the advisers in the office are always there to meet with you and ensure your success and make the transfer the easiest it can be. Its overall a great place and you get a great education for a fraction of the price of a university.

The staff and teachers are all very supportive and are willing to help you understand a subject. Many will be online every day as a resource and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I have not yet met one single cynical or mean staff member or teacher either. They are all very sweet people. The Rampart Range campus is very relaxing and calm, with many resources. They have quiet corners all around the building to sit, plug in, and study. The front lobby is usually bustling but even that is a nice place to work in between classes. They also have a place to buy some food if you wanted. They usually offer a hot meal, but there are many other options for snacks, microwavable meals, and sweets. I highly suggest the fruit parfait, its so yummy. They advertise all sorts of clubs and events around the building. More often than not when you walk into the front there is some fun event going on. I have a feeling if you are interested in an extra-curricular activity pikes peak will have a match for you. They offer plenty of options for associate programs, as well as for transfer students. Most schools in colorado work with pikes peak to have students transfer over to them, and transferring is an awesome way to save money. The councilors have a plethora of resources for career options too. Overall I am really enjoying my time at Pikes Peak Community College, I think its a great school.

Pikes Peak Community College is a friendly and accessible school, with three campuses across town and faculty readily available, it's a great place to either start your education or return to college through. PPCC has a large culinary group, nursing program, automotive program, and many other programs. It offers many options for two year degrees and transfer programs along with intern and job opportunists.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

When attending this college, I have an immediate sense of welcome and at the same time intrigue. Pikes Peak Community College is aimed to allow students to succeed, and it does so quite well. The Professors are mostly accessible and friendly, you do have your exceptions of course. There never seems to be a lack of conversation or friendly faces at this college.
