Pittsburg State University Top Questions

Before I came to this school I wish I would have known more about the weather in this area. I did not realize how much it rains in Pittsburg, and if I knew how much it does then I would have bought myself some rainboots before moving here. I also wish I would have known more about the different programs and how the enrollment works. I did not meet my advisor until it was time for enrollment, and I wish I would have known to meet with her before then if I wanted the most help from her.

I Knew everything I could possibly know about the school I am attending .

Nothing, I visited before enrolling and they done an excellent job of answering all my questions.

This is a small school, non the less I think it is a good school. Sometimes I can not get the coursework I want because the classes close fast. The course work is somewhat hard. Sometimes the teachers are not expressive. Sometimes blunt in their personal ways. Sometimes you can tell they don't want to be close knit with the students. I don't know if college life is just blunt like that, or if it can be personal and helpful to a student. it should not matter what race or culture a student is, to extracta personal quality.

Before coming to Pittsburg State I wish I would have known to save my money so that I would not be completly brook wile at college. I also wish I had known to better reserch scholorships becasue worring about loans is not fun and having dept sucks.

I wish that I would have taken tests like the ACT more seriously, taken more college classes, and learned more about how college would be. I didn't have anyone to help me through the change to college. It would have made it a lot easier for me if I would have taken the leap to find out for myself, rather than waiting for someone to tell me how it would be.

The job opportunities in my field of study for African Americans. Printing management is a degree for those who have family or leads from business associates.

I wish I knew what I wanted to study before I came here, but this school is good for finding out what you want to do. And they have a lot to offer. I wish I knew more about getting more scholarships and help

I went in alittle blind going from a junior college to a university and I am an older student that has had stops and starts in my education, I wish the staff would have been more explicit with the class requirements for my degree. I took several classes that I didn't have to and really didn't enjoy.

I wish I would have known what i wanted to do with the rest of my life that way i wouldn't have wasted time with classes that I don't need.

I wish that I had a direct career path before I enrolled in this school. If I had the chance, I would most definitely change my major to something involved with science, physics, or engineering.
