PTC has a lot of options for trades. I am off campus but love going to school it is a pleasant atmosphere. There is a lot to offer besides schooling. There are groups to join and events planned to keep the students busy. All my teachers are very well educated and the classes are small so there is a personal touch.

I visited once but I spoke to many teachers and other staff members. They treat you as if you’re a friend, help with anything needed, and support your decisions. very nice environment overall and awesome dorms! It felt very welcoming for someone who’s shy

Not the greatest school they really do not work with you when you are trying to better yourself. They really need to improve on helping there students waste of money they will not let you take classes over after you make payments. If your not making the best grades they do have a tutoring sessions but there tutors are difficult to work with and they make you feel like your stupid. My advice go to a college that actually cares about your goals.

Ashley - 03/03/2019

PTC is full of encouraging staff, educational course and extracurricular s for literally everyone. They accept any and all types of students, they hold groups and clubs for all sorts of hobbies. People who act, people who read, social people and anti-social people. PTC is super inclusive and safe.

Pittsburgh Technical College FAQS

  1. What is the Acceptance Rate at Pittsburgh Technical College?

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Pittsburgh Technical College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

The transition from high school to college is a major life change. You are being removed from an enviroment where you are over seen by your parents to one where your completely on your own. An enviroment where you might have to make decisions on your own without being able to discuss them with your Mom and Dad. Eventually you may live in a non- dorm residence and will have the added responsibility for paying the bills, getting up on time, keeping the place clean and cooking your own food. All the responsibilites of living on your own plus studying to be the best you can be in your major and even having a job can be intimidating and stessful. My advice is to keep a close relationsip with your family, your church and and, most importantly, your faith.
