Very open to new ideas and diverse.
I'm in my second semester of classes at Point Park and the one thing I can say about my classmates is that they are kind.
the majority of my classmates are very hard working. They absolutly inspire me to do me best every day. Due to the nature of our classes we are very invloved with each other and close even outside of the classroom.
I would suggest at least for your freshman year to live on campus. I did not and I regret it, because everyone in the dorms really bonded right off the bat. Also If you don't know a lot of people on campus I also strongly recomend joining at least of the schools clubs they have everything from photography and math to chess and religious groups. Don't bring a car if you are from out of town parking in the city is VERY expensive and not worth it. Take advantage of the shuttles they offer!
My classmates are all very kind and motivated to accomplish their dreams.
I am a freshman entering my first year and while I have yet to meet my classmates I have connected with some students who are planning to attend the university via facebook. So far everyone has been kind, and when visiting the school the students are more than willing to help you out , they are knowledgable, and most importantly the are willing to answer all your questions. I adore Point Park, and I hope that others looking for a college consider it when applying.
My classmates are very supportive of each other's growth as an artist and they all are driven to achieve the goals they have set for themselves, which creates a very healthy environment for us all to grow and learn.
The classmates don't care what grade you are in or what grade a you are getting in the class. They are all very helpful and open up to new people.
My classmates are very intellectual, unique, and eager to learn all about their future careers. I enjoy talking to my fellow students and learning their experiences they have had through internships in our prospective job market already. I think it is important to communicate and learn from eachother as we are going through the same experience and can form together and work together in the future as we all search for jobs in the real world.
They are very competitive.
The top majors here are dance, musical theater, journalism and film, resulting in a group of loud, hard working friendly people.
They are all very fun to be around. Since I am part of the Conservatory of Dance we all share a lot of things in common which makes it easy for just about everyone to get along. They are all extremely talented and I am constantly reminding myself how much of an honor it is to be a part of Point Park University.
There are two basic groups: the preps and the punks.
Different, everyone here is differnet I have friends that are dances and some who want to be mortitians, some who are gay and some who are gothic, no matter who you meet it is always interesting to learn about them.
My classmates are eager, energetic and competitive.
My classmates are hardworking, very creative individuals
Point Park's community is very diverse--you have very intellectual people versus people very into the arts who do not care about academics.
Fun, engaged, willing to help.
My classmates are unique and artistic people. They are confident in themselves and who they are, sometimes to the point of being over-confident or cocky. They know what they want in life, but sometimes lack the focus and drive to achieve their goals.
My classmates are intellegent, talented, and for the most part, supportive of the other people in their classes.
