This school is one of a kind. They truly make you feel apart of a family and they want you to succeed. It isn't easy but the payoff is tremendous. You get real clinical experience with Crouse Hospital making your learning experience invaluable. The school, while small, contains many helpful resources.
With the exception of 2 professors, students are bullied by faculty, and nothing is done about it. This is what they are known for. Worst college experience ever!! Avoid at all costs! Go to a four year college offering a BSN program, like LeMoyne/St. Joseph's, also in Syracuse.
This place was a nightmare from the start. The administration is so unorganized and helpless that it is borderline impossible to get a straight answer from anyone about anything important. They also DO NOT CARE about anything else that happens to you or your family. What is nice about Pomeroy College of nursing is that it is located next to several other nursing schools such as St. Joes, Onondaga Community College and Upstate Medical University which all have higher pass rates than Crouse. I graduated in 2018 with LESS THAN 40% of my original class, and would not suggest any person attend this school for their nursing degree.
