Kyrra

I wish I had known the campus better.

Pat

How much spending money I would need

Kirsten

I wish that I had known that none of the freshman dorms are coed. It can be difficult to meet people of the opposite sex unless you have class with them or go to parties.

Alejandra

I wish I would have known that it's not a very diverse place. Many people that go to this school are very well off. It seems like they have more time to devote to things that interest them because they do not need to get jobs or worry about money. However, it's difficult to maintain a social life here when one is not very wealthy. Also, it seems like a lot of people at this school are very concerned with appearances and who they are seen hanging out with. It can be tiresome do deal with the insincerity.

Shannon

I wish I knew more about the dorms and transportation available to students.

Joan

I wish that I had known how conservative their ideals really are.

Stephanie

I wish I knew that I should get involved right away. People who join many clubs and groups have instant friends... if you wait a semester or two, you'll lose out on the great opportunities available, and making friends will be much harder.

Meaghan

How demanding the core curriculum is.

Brieann

The real presence of homophobia around much of the faculty, and even some students. There are resources however and a lot of the students just turn a blind eye, even if they can't stand up for their friends in the face of discrimination.

Margaret

I wish I had known how much drinking there is, and how much it would cost compared to the amount of financial aid I am receiving.

Alejandra

I wish I would have know in the beginning of the year how important it is to have a fake ID. Underage drinking is very common at my school and is probably the primary way to meet people in the beginning of the year.
