Pueblo Community College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Lily

I consider this the worst thing about my school because no one sees it as an achievement. It is an early college program, that is supose to get people ahead. Yet, people only see it as the same school just a differnt campus. Many people compare it to other colleges, and give PCC a low score. Which makes the person going there look average. Where as if someone attended the CSU Pueblo campus instead of the community college, they would be at a much higher achievement.

Samantha

The worst thing about my school is the fact that it is so small course offerings are extremly limited.

Tara

The worst thing about my school, I would have to say; is the Libary. I say this, because there isnt really any books that can help with some of the classes some students take. There is the libary online, but some students enjoy looking through a book with pages other than reading the information on a computer screen. That is what I think the worst thing is about my school.

Mary

The only negative reality here is some of the students have no appreciation for all the advantages and opportunities available to them. They don't realize that the brain is a miracle not to be wasted or taken for granted. Life is too short, we must live it to its fullest.

William

I tell my friends hoe wonderfull our campus is. I talk about our extensive history here in colorado. I tell people how nice and helpfull the staff is. I love the flexable schedualing so i can go to school and still work.

Tracy

Students need to be proactive. The student has to stay on top of their counselor's decisions and the financial aid situation. They aren't going to find you YOU have to find them and help them understand that you are important.

Elizabeth

I think the worst thing about this school is the way some directors of the school have been allowed to control student activities. Before he was employed here we had a amazing student government, lots of activities and many students involved in the school community; now it is significantly less. A lager amount of clubs have fallen apart.

The worst aspect of Pueblo Community College is the lack of higher mathematics availability. Students seeking engineering degrees inevitably graduate woefully under qualified in mathematics. The student demand for such classes is insufficient to demand higher mathematics to be offered.
