The sports at Purdue are amazing!! The football games are my favorite; the whole campus gets excited Friday afternoons with Free Ride Fridays on the Boilermaker Special, or train mascot that is set on a semi-truck bed! And our basketball team is awesome and doing really well this season! And there are so many other sporting events to attend. Big 10 Sports are the best!

Purdue is very competitive in every sport imaginable. Purdue has teams from the obvious basketball ranging all the way to water skiing. Students are loyal fans to all of Purdue's teams. Basketball and football are the biggest here, but lately the volleyball team has seen most its home games sold out. The student section at events is a massive sea of gold and black, the school's colors. The games are always exciting and even if it ends in a loss for old Purdue, the camaraderie of enthusiastic students is always enjoyable.

Sports, primarily football, are a BIG deal at Purdue. There is a lot of school pride in the athletics and people go all out for games. This is something you can do with friends and your family. A lot of families come, dress up, and having a cook out in preparation for the game.

This is just the most popular Purdue related activity -- there is plenty to do outside of student activities and groups.

On days of home basketball games, volleyball games, or, of course, football games, there's nowhere better to be than in Ross-Ade Stadium, Mackey Arena, or the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility to get your Purdue spirit fix! Games will be talked about for days before and after they happen. It's all about the Big Ten atmosphere of our sports... and they're never a boring watch (even if our teams don't win every game)!
