Queens University of Charlotte Top Questions

What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

Kathleen

When I tell my friends about Queens, I always brag about how nice the people are. You can be having the worst day and there is always someone there who can cheer you up. And even if you're just walking to class, the people you pass will always smile and say "hi" to you even if they don't know you. The campus is so small though that even if you don't know someone personally, you've at least seen them around before. The campus has "southern hospitality" going for it.

Beautiful campus. Small, personal classes. Unique programs such as our JBIP program where students travel abroad for 3weeks the summer after their junior year and is included in tuition!! Students take a preperatory class that covers history, culture, and language of the region to which they will be traveling. Our core program is very unique - a different way of doing general education requirements. 1st year is philosophy and ancient history, 2nd year is science and economy, 3rd year is international issues (mock UN session) and the JBIP class, and senior year is ethics. Queens requires two internships to graduate.
