The stereotype of students is that they are all rich kids that wear vineyard vines. While this may be somewhat true, it does not apply to the majority of students. Many students receive financial aid, and all of my friends have scholarships and financial aid.
Pretty much everyone here is here because of the reputation as a party school. My suite-mates this year would be smoking pot about 7 or 8 times a day in the bathroom. They would be up at the latest hours of the night partying in the room, and the RAs were nice, but they didn't do much to stop that. There were a few times I had to yell at my roommate for snorting crack on my desk (not his) while I was in the room. I would not recommend this school for anyone who wants an actual education. If you want to come here to party, you will enjoy yourself.
