  3. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

    The advice that I would give is to get more involved in volunteering opportunities especially in the medical field. Part of the diffifculty in terms of transitioning into the college stage is that there are so many options and career paths available. Doing extracurricular activities can effect ones career decision and may give them a clearer picture of what they want to do. If I could go back in time I would consider becoming an Emergency Medical Technician and use that experience to better mold me as a healthcare professional.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible.
