This is the absolute BEST online college ANYWHERE! They are FANTASTIC to work with and if I could do it allover again I would choose them.
My overall opinion of Rasmussen College is a positive one! My biggest issue is not always having an opportunity to get in touch with an advisor. I know they are incredibly busy, but sometimes talking to them asap is necessary. I will say that when we do catch our advisors with a spare moment they are incredibly helpful and want the best for the students. If you are looking for a small campus with a great faculty and awesome support system from fellow students, Rasmussen is an excellent option.
The Rasmussen College - Bloomington Campus is a great place for non traditional students. Many people in my classes are coming back and are serious about their studies. This is refreshing as many students in my previous college experience were taking this opportunity for granted. The classes go by quickly which makes it easy to stay interested in the material being presented.
I feel like Rasmussen is a very intimate, friendly, school. Great school curriculum. Knowledgable and helpful instructors. The advisors make sure the work load is manageable for individual students. The advisors are always checking in to make sure the quarter will be successful for the students.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Rasmussen University-Minnesota is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If I was able to go back in time and talk to myself as a high shool senior, the first thing I would say is education must be priority! I would tell myself about the job I have at the hospital now and how much I want to be a nurse and tell myself not to stop until I am there. I would also take the time to educate myself on credit and tell myself to not touch credit cards unless it is a serious emergency. Something non school related would be that I would tell myself to try harder with my father. He was deployed over seas several times while growing up and it put a very large strain on our relationship and as a teenager I really didn't understand what was happening. I would tell myself to email him every day he is gone just to simply say, "I love you" so that he knows I care and is in my thoughts every day. I would strive the younger me to be the strong woman I am today, sooner.
I think in order for one to be a successful at Rasmussen they have to be self motivated, driven and committed. Rasmussen truly wants their students to succeed and I think it is possible for everyone that has motivation. Online classes take a lot of self motivation and serious commitment. I have rearranged my work schedule so that I myself may focus Monday through Friday evenings strictly on school and I have proven to myself that it is possible.
I feel that Rasmussen is unique in the aspect that it is focused on making sure I am successful. I have been to a different university and felt that I was completely irrelevant and that I did not matter. Rasmussen calls me to tell me that they are proud of me for doing well and proud of my grades; that's highly impressive. I also think its great that they offer so many online classes. I am 25, and I work full time and that is not an option. I make school work while making work work.
Actually, the orientation prepared me for exactly what I was in store for, and I feel the school did a great job of selling themselves. They have met all my needs thus far. I really like that this college is regionally accreditted and has a good reputation. I have found all the teachers to be really on the ball, and are very helpful.
