Red Rocks Community College is an amazing school where everyone feels included, respected, and the academic are great! Professors are always there to support student in the best way they can but also challenge them within class to ensure student become successful in their schooling career. I love Red Rocks-- my time with him has been nothing but great and I couldn't recommend it enough to students starting college.
For a community college, Red Rocks is such an amazing school. The teachers are genuinely there to help the students learn more and they want their students to succeed. The courses I have taken have been super fun and I enjoy going to school each day.
As a whole I enjoyed my experience at Red Rocks Community College. The facility is built really well and they have a lot of resources students can take advantage of. The financial aid office is always helpful and wanting to help. However, and this may just be my experience, I have had no luck with counselors. I have set up several appointments asking for help with my school schedule or asking about how to go about transferring and either they don't know anything about it or they want to get you out as soon as possible with no real response. I one time set up an appointment for help with my classes for the next semester and the counselor was 30 minutes late and she didn't help she told me to follow the sheet of paper they had given me when I was a freshman. I liked the majority of my teachers though. For a community college I was impressed with the amount of teachers that really wanted to see students succeed. I did have a few teachers that had no office hours and you were mostly teaching yourself, but most teachers like that did respond to emails immediately so you weren't on your own entirely. I did meet a lot of different people at this school and everyone has been nice and are hard working students who are also working a job.
they have online courses, and require no GPA!!!!
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Red Rocks Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I didn't do very well in highschool but i did graduate and I know I could have done better. I would have told my self to keep working and start looking for colleges and financial aid at the beginning of my senior year. I also would have told myself to start looking into universities instead of a community college.
I think the graduation rate could be better just because than it can assure more people can recieve jobs after college.
how nice and up to date with technology the school is.
my classmates are very energetic.
The classes are small and you can really get one on one help from the professors.
I think it's known for being the lost cost communtiy college in Colorado that has transfer agreements with most if not all of the 4 year universities in the state.
Some one who is hard pressed for college money. Starting school at RRCC is cheaper and the education is just as good as a more expensive college. Start at RRCC and then transfer somewhere else if you want to finish a four year degree.
My school offers several quality programs, but not the degree I am looking for. Instead I have to go for a general degree, then transfer to a university before I can pursue my goals and edcuational plans. Though it is a community college, there should be more programs offered for students who are not looking to major in technical programs, but also to prepare for students who plan to enter graduate school as well. If my school went by this process, I would be able to pursue my goals.
classes are small and professors are very personable. This makes for a wonderful learning environment and allows me to get to know other students as personal friends and as future colleagues. It seems that everyone at Red Rocks has one goal in mind, and that is success, success for ourselves and for our fellow students.
Red Rocks Community College is a very nice school with a great community.
I wish I would have better understood that education is preparation for knowledge, and that knowledge can only be gained through life experience. I wish I would have known that the gift of participating in education is the most rewarding contribution that one can make in their own life. There is no need to delay education; complications can be resolved with determination and use of resources available. I wish I would have known more of my own perseverance and strength. I have found the ability to achieve my dreams and I have my newfound knowledge to thank for that.
It is a small community college. So, after a semester or two, you know or at least recognize most of the students and faculty. If you hope to disappear in a crowd of people at college, meet a lot of new people, and not know everyone in your school, you'd probably want to consider attending a bigger school.
